- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS using services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and VPC.
- Utilize Docker for containerization of applications, managing Docker images and containers.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Monitor and troubleshoot application performance issues and outages.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of new features and updates.
- Ensure systems and processes meet relevant compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, DORA, SOC 2).
- Hands-on experience working with compliance standards, including assessing compliance status, deploying necessary security measures, and supporting successful compliance audits.
- Conduct security assessments, vulnerability scans, and remediation activities (including assessing and managing external vendors).
- Document processes, company policies, system configurations, and deployment procedures.
- Communicate openly and effectively in English with colleagues, including coworkers in remote offices and people in other departments.
- Proficient in containerization and orchestration technologies.
- Solid understanding of scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, Ruby).
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Knowledge of networking concepts and security best practices in a cloud environment.
- At least 3 years of experience in DevOps positions
- Experience with large and/or complex SQL databases, given our product’s data heaviness
- Well-versed in using shell, know your way around servers and have a few favourite CLI tools in your tool belt
