
Manager/Senior Manager - Corporate Tax

- University degree (or equivalent) in Economics or Law
- Minimum of 5 years (for Manager) or 8 years (for Senior Manager) of experience in corporate taxation; similar experience in a Big Four company or in a similar advisory role is a strong advantage
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards (ACCA or equivalent certifications are a plus)
- Excellent oral and written communication, including confident presentation abilities
- Advanced proficiency in English (TOEFL or IELTS certification is a plus)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially in MS Excel
- Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing complex projects
- Proactive mindset with the ability to propose client solutions and contribute to the development of new services internally
- Strong analytical and research skills; capable of interpreting complex regulations and delivering actionable insights
- Highly organized and efficient; able to manage multiple clients and competing priorities under tight deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy to ensure compliance and minimize risks in tax filings and advisory work
- Lead tax compliance/advisory projects and tax due diligence projects, including full project management and review of the corporate tax team's work
- Oversee the preparation of deliverables, including initial drafts and final versions of emails, memos, and tax calculations
- Manage domestic and international tax structuring projects by identifying and analyzing tax implications of mergers, acquisitions, and other forms of corporate restructuring
- Organize and conduct in-depth tax research, issue expert opinions, and provide advice to clients
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and strategic advice
- Collaborate cross-functionally with colleagues in other Tax teams, Deloitte service lines, and international offices
- Lead project administration activities, as well as ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
- Lead and coach interns, junior and senior consultants; provide ongoing mentorship and guidance
- Actively contribute to marketing and business development initiatives, including client proposals and development of new tax solutions and innovative service offerings
