We are looking for a meticulous and highly organized Document Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of document control, ensuring that all documents are correctly logged, archived, and easily retrievable. The Document Controller will play a crucial role in supporting the commissioning team, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and ensuring the integrity and availability of all project documentation.Responsibilities and Measurement Criteria with Time investment Needed on Each:
- Ensure that all documentation is correctly numbered, logged, distributed, and filed/stored.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to collect and track all documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review and update documents for accuracy and compliance with the company's standards.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure all documents are correctly maintained and adhere to company and regulatory standards.
- Provide training to staff on the proper handling and use of documentation systems.
- Provide training and support to client personnel on the operation and maintenance of control systems.
- Respond to requests for information and documentation in a timely and efficient manner.
- Track and manage the document review process, ensuring that all documents are reviewed and approved as required.
- Implement and maintain document control processes and procedures to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the document control system.
- Assist with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in document control, records management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in using document management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Good written and verbal communication and language skills
- This position involves a combination of office work and on-site work at various project locations. The successful candidate must be able to work in different environments and adapt to changing conditions. Safety is a top priority, and all work must be conducted in compliance with safety regulations and standards.
