Lead the end-to-end management of the enterprise data warehouse, including architecture, infrastructure, and performance
Build and manage a high-performing team and continuous improvement
Ensure the warehouse supports critical business functions across Finance, Risk, Compliance, AML
Implement data governance, lineage, and quality controls in line with regulatory frameworks

What You’ll Be Doing

Define and implement data architecture, modelling, and warehousing best practices
Build and manage a team of data engineers and architects
Collaborate with stakeholders in Risk, Finance, Compliance, and IT to align data strategy with business needs
Oversee data integration from core banking systems, payment platforms, CRM, and external sources
Drive automation, monitoring, and optimization of data pipelines and processes
Stay current with emerging data technologies, trends, and regulatory developments

What You’ll Need

Experience in data warehousing or data engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership role within financial services or banking
Experience managing large-scale data infrastructure supporting finance, risk, and regulatory reporting
Excellent understanding of data governance frameworks, data security, and financial compliance requirements
Ability to communicate technical strategy to non-technical stakeholders
To be self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and stay up-to-date with new technologies in the field
Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude
University degree (300 ECTS) with 3 years of relevant work experience

Nice to have

Experience with Databricks
Experience in Big Data technologies - Apache Airflow, NiFi, Kafka, Hadoop, Spark
Working knowledge of Cloud-based solutions (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
