Communication, responsiveness, reliability and deep interest in customer success are the main values of the department.We are looking for a Junior Systems and Cloud Management Engineer who is ready to learn about the architecture of GDi products and client-specific applications we support, and about the working knowledge of the underlying platform (cloud and on-premise). Our opening provides an excellent opportunity for those looking to get into the cloud computing space and to participate on one of our many innovative projects at high-profile clients in highly competitive industries throughout the world.As part of our team you will be working on:
  • Client system operations monitoring, constant optimization and performance issue resolution
  • System add-ons and upgrade deployment planning, testing for supportability, documentation
  • Installation and troubleshooting of complex IT solutions deployed in enterprise environments (GDi Cloud and on-premise)
  • Internal (dev/test) operational support and system maintenance (Microsoft Azure, AWS and GDi Data Center)
  • Testing support and UAT support
  • Supporting the pre-sales process where needed
  • Cooperating with GDi Products and GDi Professional Services departments in implementation, integration, support and quality assurance
  • Using IP-based communication and web conferencing technologies (Microsoft Teams, Slack, Zoom)
About YouRequired:
  • A strong willingness to learn and adapt to new skills, products, and technologies
  • Knowledge of systems and network administration (Active Directory, TCP/IP, DNS, IIS, load balancing)
  • Understanding of virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper-V
  • Excellent application analysis and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to work effectively and provide feedback within the team
  • Proficiency in the English language (fluent oral and written communication)
  • Professional attitude and ability to build positive relationships with internal clients and colleagues
  • Proactive and collaborative approach to achieving business goals
Preferred (advantage):
  • Understanding of cloud concepts and technologies (Microsoft Azure, AWS) - hands-on experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of databases (MS SQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
  • Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) for automation and administration tasks
  • Familiarity with containerization concepts (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines
  • Basic understanding of cloud security concepts and compliance frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, NIS2)
  • Understanding of DevOps principles and tools
  • Microsoft Azure certifications (AZ-900, AZ-104) or AWS Cloud Practitioner certification
