We are looking for a Mobile Engineer to join our team on an exciting project for our UK client in the betting industry. The project focuses on delivering a social betting app that enables users to connect and bet within their network. Develop responsive, accessible, and high-performance UI components for mobile applications, adhering to our design system and performance standards.
Build and enhance real-time features for an engaging betting experience, ensuring seamless user interactions.
Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and product managers in agile environment to design, develop, and deploy solutions iteratively.
Contribute to feature ideation, user testing, and post-deployment maintenance to ensure high-quality user experiences.

What we are looking for in a Mobile Engineer is:

2+ years of professional experience with React Native or equivalent React experience in production environments.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern React patterns (e.g., hooks, context, functional components).
Experience integrating WebSockets and RESTful APIs in mobile applications.
Hands-on experience with Expo and EAS for building and deploying React Native apps.
Proficiency with at least one state management library (e.g., MobX, Redux, Zustand).
Strong attention to detail in implementing visually appealing and accessible UI designs.
Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, React Testing Library).
Strong communication skills to articulate technical decisions and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

It would be cool if you also have, but it’s not necessary:

Experience with native iOS/Android development (Swift/Kotlin).
Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude), push notifications, or deep linking.
Prior work optimizing mobile app performance or implementing accessibility standards.
