International travel may be required based on project needs.The opportunityAs a Global Engineering Project Manager (GEPM), you will lead the full lifecycle of strategic engineering projects-ranging from major capital investments to global operational programs. Depending on project needs, you may monitor, support/coach, or fully manage initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites.The GEPM is responsible for leading and executing complex, cross-site engineering pharmaceutical projects, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements as well as cost, quality, safety, and schedule objectives.How you'll spend your dayEnd-to-End Project Leadership
- Establish the project scope and define boundaries.
- Prepare project charters, specifying clear roles and responsibilities.
- Develop a comprehensive project plan with detailed time schedules.
- Formulate budget and cost plans, encompassing capital expenditure requests, purchase orders, invoices, and cash flow management.
- Create a resource plan aligned with forecasted workload requirements.
- Identify key project milestones and implement management stage-gate reviews.
- Assess risks and formulate appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Define project governance procedures, including coordination and communication protocols, an organizational chart, routine workflows, and clear channels between project teams and the steering committee).
- Lead and coordinate the project team throughout the execution phase, including commissioning and qualification activities as applicable.
- Provide regular updates on status, progress, changes, risks, and mitigation strategies using standardized reporting to the steering committee.
- Oversee handover activities to confirm successful project completion.
- Facilitate lessons learned sessions to generate actionable insights for ongoing improvement.
- Coordinate with TLMS (Teva Lean Management System) methodology, focusing on project management practices.
- Engineering degree required
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry
- Excellent understanding of project / program management, including the application of project management tools and methodologies across various project types and environments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written
- Strong business orientation with the ability to set clear business objectives
- Ability to manage group discussions, build consensus, and drive alignment on shared strategies and priorities
- Ability to influence stakeholders while working in cross-functional environments
- Excellent command of English
- Willing to travel aboard based on requirements
- M.A. degree
- A significant direct experience as site engineering / maintenance manager in a pharma manufacturing site
- Global or multinational experience
- Additional language skills
