If you'd like to learn more about this position and project, apply now.ResponsibilitiesDesign, construct, install, test and maintain highly scalable and optimized data pipelines with state-of-the-art monitoring and logging practicesBring together large, complex, and sparse data sets to meet functional and non-functional business requirements. Utilize a variety of languages, tools, and frameworks to integrate dataDesign and implement data tools for analytics and data scientist team members to help them build, optimize, and tune use casesTackle challenging and varied problems related to gaining further maturity in Data Platform tools, processes, and engineering capabilitiesFocus on engineering excellence to deliver high-quality solutions that provide leverage for the company's objectivesRequirements3+ years of hands-on experience in data processing focused projectsProficiency with Java, Python, or Scala, and SQLKnowledge of Apache SparkExperience with one of the major cloud providers AWS, Azure or GCPHands-on experience with selected data processing technologies, such as Hadoop, MongoDB, Cassandra, Kafka, and Elasticsearch, as well as Python libraries (Pandas, NumPy, etc.) and data processing tools from cloud providers (EMR, Glue, Data Factory, BigTable, etc.)Relevant experience with version control systems and code review processesKnowledge of Agile methodologiesBasic knowledge of Linux and Bash scriptingNice to haveHands-on experience with Databricks and Delta-LakeAbility to build Apache Airflow pipelinesExperience with the Snowflake platformWe offer/BenefitsWe believe that the greatest strength of the company is its people.
