TradeLocker is looking for a skilled Mid-Backend Engineer to join our Engine team. We’re seeking someone who can take ownership of complex features, optimize systems at scale, and contribute to our mission of building a cutting-edge trading platform.What you'll be up to:

Designing, implementing, and maintaining backend systems that power a trading platform.
Solving complex technical challenges in distributed and event-driven architectures.
Collaborating with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to ensure features are performant, secure, and reliable.
Growing in an autonomous environment while working in small, agile, and cross-functional teams.
Leading by example: sharing best practices, mentoring junior engineers, and helping elevate the team’s technical standards.
Staying ahead of industry trends and incorporating new technologies where appropriate.
Taking operational ownership of services, including production monitoring, performance tuning, and participating in on-call rotations.

What we’re looking for:

4+ years of professional experience as a backend engineer, ideally with hands-on experience in high-performance Java systems.
Strong expertise with Java and Spring Framework, including design patterns, concurrency, and performance optimization.
Solid experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and query optimization.
Familiarity with event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS) and asynchronous system design.
Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes) in production environments.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication in collaborative teams.
Track record of building scalable, reliable, and maintainable systems.

Gross salary range for the Mid Backend Engineer position is between €3000 and €3700 monthly, depending on your experience.What You Can Expect from Us:
