
HR Specialist (fixed term contract until end of November 2026)

- Ensuring accurate and timely payroll processes with an outsourced payroll model in close collaboration with the Payroll Specialist located outside of the country. Payroll data collection and submission to Payroll team
- Payroll data collection and submission to agencies in for all contractors
- Facilitate onboarding processes by coordinating with line managers, preparing employment contracts, and ensuring a seamless integration of new employees
- Handle offboarding activities, including preparing exit documents, conducting exit interviews, and managing the return of company assets
- Track service center ticket system and ensure that timely employee support is provided and escalations appropriately managed
- Support the local benefit system by collaborating with Total Rewards (TRs) to provide input for the annual survey, ensuring that benefits are competitive and aligned with employee needs.
- Coordinate language courses
- Track and support recruitment processes
- Maintain and ensure the accuracy of employee records. Update and manage databases and systems - Workday, Kronos, Fieldglass, EHS, other local systems and HR databases
- Prepare contract changes for job moves, compensation changes, and other employment adjustments
- Manage outsourced workers, contractors, and students, ensuring all related benefits and payments are accurately administered
- Oversee the administration of time and attendance systems, ensuring accurate reporting and payroll processing
- Handle sick leave documentation and attendance sheet management
- Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) standards, integrating these considerations into daily operations and fostering a safe and healthy workplace environment.
- Manage vendor and contract processes, including preparation, bank verification, and upload to internal systems.
- Handle purchase order management and prepare financial reports related to HR activities.
- HR Specialist's responsibilities involve facilitating efficient office operations
- Support local HR initiatives and events (such as LDP Week, local Vitality related activities, Abbvie in Motion, Volunteering)
- University degree or equivalent (business administration, human resources or a relevant field)
- 3+ years of experience in HR operations including payroll administration and compensation and benefits
- Strong knowledge of labor legislation and payroll processes
- Experience in a multinational environment and a proven track record in managing HR via Shared Service Supported operations model
- English language proficiency verbally and in writing
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Solid problem-solving and team management abilities
