- Supporting daily compliance operations through risk assessments, financial data review, third-party risk management, conflict of interest management, internal controls, and vetting processes.
- Conducting reviews of third-party relationships, transactions, and business activities from a compliance, integrity, and risk perspective, assisting with contractual compliance clauses and follow up on fulfilment.
- Advising and collaborating with internal teams and external advisors to ensure alignment with compliance standards and to identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks.
- Contributing to the development of compliance framework, preparing, maintaining, and managing compliance policies, procedures, as well as records and documentation ensuring a reliable audit trail.
- Collect, organize, review, and analyze information from internal systems, records, open sources, and other relevant data sets.
- Identify red flags, inconsistencies, indicators of potential misconduct, and control weaknesses, through structured review and analysis.
- Assisting with support and tracking of remediation plans and corrective actions arising from audits, investigations, or risk assessments. Translate findings into practical recommendations for risk mitigation and control enhancement.
- Promoting compliance awareness through onboarding materials, training, presentations, and internal communications, ensuring that teams understand their responsibilities.
- A university degree in economics, law or another relevant field
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience
- Fluency in Croatian and English
- A high level of ethical standards
- Knowledge of compliance‑related regulations
- Ability to perform well under pressure
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent research, documentation drafting, and communication skills
- Solution‑oriented and collaborative approach
- Experience in compliance roles within large or international organizations
