- Participate in the education and training of personnel in NDT methods, including continuous monitoring of international regulations in the NDT field (methods, codes, standards, norms, and procedures).
- Organize calibration processes and maintain calibration status records for NDT instruments and equipment.
- Conduct qualification programs for NDT procedures (performance demonstrations), including preparation, review and execution of qualification protocols, test procedures and samples, as well as their evaluation and administration.
- Provide support to the R&D, Production, Field Service and Quality Departments to expand knowledge of the equipment.
- Participate in field testing activities conducted at nuclear power plants.
- Lead projects, ensure compliance with technical requirements, deadlines, and budget constraints.
- Track and implement new technologies and technical advancements.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors.
- Provide technical support in the field of NDT methods.
- Continuously improve certification programs and competence development.
- Adhere to internal work procedures.
- Coordinate and prepare reports and technical documentation.
- Report to the head of the department on progress, challenges and achievements as needed and/or upon request.
- Maintain strong business relationships with partners.
- Minimum Master’s degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering.
- At least three years of relevant work experience.
- Knowledge of ASME Code Section V and XI or relevant European standards (EN, ISO).
- Experience in the field of non-destructive testing (NDT).
- Understanding of certification processes and quality standards.
- Understanding of aligning educational programs with international regulations in the NDT field (covering NDT methods, codes, standards, norms, and procedures).
- Advanced proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Executes tasks reliably in line with instructions, priorities, rules, and deadlines, with a high degree of independence.
- Demonstrates a proactive approach and continuous willingness to learn and improve.
- Communicates clearly, demonstrates strong organizational skills, and works effectively in a team, fostering collaboration with colleagues.
- Preferred qualifications:
- NDT Level II certification in at least two methods according to ASNT CP‑189 (e.g. UT, ET, RT, MT, PT, VT) or relevant European standards.
- Experience in education, training delivery, or leading technical training sessions.
- Participation in field activities.
- Working with highly qualified experts in the field of electrical engineering, software development and mechanical engineering.
