They operate in 21 European countries with four strategically located hubs in Amsterdam, Kyiv, Zagreb and Zug.Their focus? Trading renewable energy sources, natural gas, and fuels.Your focus? Ensuring compliance with regulations across Central and Southeastern European countries.Since the company is in a hyper-growth stage, you will have a unique opportunity to see the immediate impact of your work.What will you do?Regulatory Compliance: Manage the compliance framework to adhere to key regulations (antitrust laws, REMIT, EMIR, MIFID II, FinFrag) across different countries.Market Insights and Legislative Advocacy: Monitor energy market trends across Ukraine, the EU, and Switzerland, and stay informed about regulatory changes. You'll also analyze and create proposals for new laws and regulations.Risk Assessment and Policy Development: Evaluate risks to inform strategies and create policies for legal compliance and operational efficiency.Legal and Regulatory Advisory: Provide legal advice on operational activities, including licensing and regulatory compliance in various countries.Contract Management and Legislative Monitoring: Oversee financial contracts and monitor legislative changes to ensure ongoing compliance.If you bring to the table:5+ years of legal experience in commodity trading or with firms specializing in compliance, banking & finance, energy, or competition law.A law master's degree.Skills in drafting policies and procedures in English.Basic knowledge of energy trading, financial instruments, or derivatives markets.Experience in structuring and supporting financial transactions.Ability to interpret and apply various national and international legal and regulatory frameworks.Questions or curious to know more? 👀Shoot me an email atOtherwise, just hit apply 🎯, and I'll be sure to circle back with you!
