  • Data Engineer will collaborate closely with the product owners, data architects, data analysts, and data teams to achieve insights, provide the organization with valuable data solutions, and enable reliably informed strategic decisions
  • You will be part of ongoing data transformation of our bank, using open-source technologies like Apache NiFi, Airflow, Hadoop and other
  • Assembling large, complex sets of data that meet non-functional and functional business requirements
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Working in one and collaborate with many agile and adaptive teams
  • Building Data Pipelines, with hands-on development of scripts using various programming languages including SQL, Python, Spark Programming
  • Identifying, designing and implementing internal process improvements including re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability
  • Working with stakeholders including data, design, product and executive teams and assisting them with data-related technical issues
  • Monitoring data systems performance and implementing optimization strategies
  • Designing and implementing data pipelines using Apache Spark and Delta Lake to process and store large volumes of structured and unstructured data
What You’ll Need
  • Understanding and experience with structured/unstructured database environments and Big Data environments
  • Working knowledge of Python, Git, SQL, and NoSQL databases
  • Experience in Big Data technologies - Apache Airflow, NiFi, Kafka, Hadoop, Spark
  • To be self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and stay up-to-date with new technologies in the field
  • Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude
  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or related field
Nice to have
  • Experience with Databricks
  • Working knowledge of Cloud-based solutions (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
