Internal departments need to rely on your legal expertise to support current and new clients. As we are continually expanding our footprint, we need to make sure that we are compliant in every country where we operate.Responsibilities:
Efficiently and adequately support the business in area of contract support
Closely cooperating with relevant internal and external stakeholders
Adequately able to support contract negotiations in multijurisdictional environment
Dealing with external advisors regarding various contract law matters, domestic and foreign
Able to fully understand internal policies and reflect them in the contract/negotiation process
Effective risk management techniques and proactivity in advising on possible legal issues
Researching and evaluating different risk factors in foreign jurisdictions
Being able to full understand the companies products and underlaying legal risks from contractual perspective
Monitoring legal and regulatory developments that may affect the business (e.g., export controls, sanctions, anti-bribery laws) and supporting implementation of changes
Detect compliance risks in our operations and proactively advise on potential non-compliance matters (especially withing third party risk management process)
Test compliance related procedures, define remediation and monitor improvements
Support internal stakeholders on various compliance topics
More About You:
You have 1 to 4 years experience in legal work
Law degree (LLB/LLM); additional LLM/Diploma studies is an advantage
Bar exam (or equivalent professional qualification exam) is an advantage
Strong analytical skills
Ability and willingness to work in global environment
Full professional fluency in English
Ability to work in foreign language in addition to English is an advantage: German, French, Spanish, Italian,... etc.
Strong negotiation skills in international environment and problem solving – solution orientated mindset
You have a general understanding of compliance system, compliance program and identification of compliance risks
Effective task management
Team player with learning agility
You have organizational, analytical and writing skills; you are quick learner, and you have a strong sense of initiative
Strong work ethic, dedicated and efficient in handling multiple tasks in fast paced environment
